Peugeot Expert Vans

The Peugeot Expertis an example of a vehicle that was almost too good. First produced in 1995, the first incarnation of the Peugeot Expertwas popular with LCV operators who recognised the vehicles smooth running and reliability; this only became a problem when Peugeot attempted to launch an updated version of the Expertin 2001 and 2002 and found no demand. The vehicle had become too reliable.

It took another two years for Peugeot to release an updated version. The ExpertPhase II first appeared in 2004 and remained in production for only a fraction of the time of its predecessor. In 2007, after only three years, the Peugeot ExpertII was ready for another upgrade.

The current version of the Peugeot Expertis the ExpertTepee. A far more streamlined vehicle, the updated version is proving a worthy bearer of the Expertlegacy.

The Peugeot ExpertLCV is available in a 2.0 litre petrol engine version and in 1.6 and 2.0 litre diesel engine versions. The Expertshares identical bodywork to Citroen Jumpy and the Fiat Scudo light commercial vehicles manufactured at plants shared by Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat but the Peugeot vehicle uses a different engine to both the aforementioned vehicles.
