Nissan Van Leasing and Nissan Van Contract Hire

The Nissan Primastar is an economical performer and compares very favorably against the Peugeot Boxer for example. The van drives like a car,  is very comfy and reliable although some very high mileage models do experience gear box issues that should be addressed at service.

The Nissan Interstar has certainly regained Nissan’s reputation in the market, although Vauxhall and Renault van drivers may think they’re getting déjà-vu because all these vans are essentially the same vehicles budged differently and with slightly different specs.

The engine line up on the Nissan Interstar has been simplified to one 2.5-litre dCi powertrain available with three outputs, 100, 120 and 150hp, all offering improved performance and a diesel particle filter (DPF) – which eliminates 99.9% of diesel particle emissions.

History Of Nissan

Founded on Boxing Day 1933, Nissan Motors emerged from Datsun, a Japanese automotive company that had been operating since just before World War One.

With a name derived from the phrase Japan Industries (Nippon Sangkyo), Nissan set about becoming a major player on the global automotive scene. Today, only such giants as Toyota, Hyundai, Ford and General Motors enjoy a larger share of the global market than the Japanese firm, with only Toyota outperforming them on the Japanese market.

With such a diverse range of motor vehicles on offer, Nissan could almost be forgiven for letting the quality of their LCV range slide. However, this is far from the case; flagship light commercial vehicles such as the Nissan NV200 van and the Nissan Navara pickup compete with the best vehicles in their respective classes and have each scooped prestigious accolades and awards.

An enhanced focus on vehicle safety from the Japanese company in recent years has led to Nissan becoming recognised as one of the safest automotive producers around. In 2010, the Navara won the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administrations Highest Side impact Safety Rating, followed up in 2011 by the same vehicle achieving a maximum score in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safetys Front, Side, and Roof Strength Evaluations.

Safe, sturdy and stylish, its easy to see why Nissans LCV range is so popular with modern fleet operators and drivers alike.
