The Nissan Primastar is an economical performer and compares very favorably against the Peugeot Boxer for example. The van drives like a car, is very comfy and reliable although some very high mileage models do experience gear box issues that should be addressed at service.

The Nissan Interstar has certainly regained Nissan’s reputation in the market, although Vauxhall and Renault van drivers may think they’re getting déjà-vu because all these vans are essentially the same vehicles budged differently and with slightly different specs.

The engine line up on the Nissan Interstar has been simplified to one 2.5-litre dCi powertrain available with three outputs, 100, 120 and 150hp, all offering improved performance and a diesel particle filter (DPF) – which eliminates 99.9% of diesel particle emissions.
