Daily Heavy Duty Vans

Italian commercial vehicle conglomerate Iveco is amongst the best known of the big European manufacturers. Making vehicles since the mid-seventies, the company launched its popular LCV model, the Daily, in 1978.

Surviving almost unchanged for 12 years, the Iveco Daily received a major overhaul in 1990. Ford, who had joined Iveco in 1986, requested that the new 3.5 ton Daily be removed from the UK market to avoid competition with its Transit LCV. The heavy duty version of Iveco Daily remained and continued to be available on these shores.

The heavy duty Daily is Ivecos 5.0 ton commercial vehicle. It is designed to plug the gap between top end LCVs and larger commercial vehicles. For those whose requirements fall somewhere in between these categories, the heavy duty model of the Daily is for you.

In recent years, Iveco has diversified its Daily range. From 2007, a four wheel drive version of the Daily was produced; available in single or double cab options and with a range of different wheelbases, this vehicle symbolised a progressively more versatile approach from Iveco. The Daily was becoming increasingly ready for anything.

But as well as being rough, ready and ruthless, Iveco has also shown its caring, conscientious side; 2010 saw the announcement of the first electronically powered Daily, signalling a move into greener and more sustainable engineering for Iveco.
