Fiat (from Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino) was founded in 1899 by a group of investors including Giovanni Agnelli.
Fiat has manufactured tanks and aircraft in its past and as of 2009, Fiat stood as one of the more financially stable carmakers in an uncertain global market. Fiat-based cars are made all around the world, in Brazil, Argentina and Poland to name just a few. At the same time as the Austin Mini, Volkswagen Beetle and Citroen 2CV were designed and built to give the man on the street access to wheels, Fiat launched the Fiat 500 in 1947.

Thanks to incredible design, this little runabout changed the way we think about cars and sold in massive numbers. That verve and sheer sense of style and practicality is carried through today in FiatÂ’s range of commercial vehicles.

The new model Fiat Doblo has gone on sale this month. Acclaimed for its modern looks and new suspension, together with impressive ride and handling qualities, the new Fiat Doblo is bound to be a success. The Doblo comes with many different specifications with a choice of Euro 4 and 5 engines, as well as seven different forms - Cargo, Cargo Maxi, Cargo SX, Cargo Maxi SX, Combi, Combi Maxi and Platform Cab - to offer real solutions to a wide spectrum of van users.

Standard equipment across the entire range includes ABS anti-lock brakes, height adjustable steering wheel, power steering, electric front windows, adjustable headlights, passenger seat undertray, high performance speakers, side rubbing strips and central door locking and electric and heated door mirrors.
